SERVICES & SOLUTIONS

Services built around getting you into market

Three core services that take a brand from

“we want to enter this market”

to

“we are selling in this market.”

EXECUTION, NOT THEORY

Causeway Advisory focuses on the execution end of market entry, the practical work of choosing partners, building channels and holding commercial momentum on the ground.

The three services below are offered individually or more often, in sequence: identifying the right partners, building the channel around them and providing senior commercial leadership while the market takes hold.

01

Partner & Distributor Identification

Choosing a distribution or channel partner is the highest-stakes decision in a market entry. The wrong partner can cost a brand years, under-investing, mishandling the brand or quietly controlling the customer relationship.

Causeway Advisory identifies, vets and introduces the right partners, assessing them with genuine local-network insight and the ability to read commercial dynamics in their own language and on their own ground.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

1. Definition of the ideal partner profile for the brand and market.

2. Identification and longlisting of candidate distribution and channel partners.

3. Structured vetting and due diligence, capability, reputation, fit and genuine commitment.

4. Commercial term benchmarking, so the brand negotiates from an informed position.

5. Structured introductions to a shortlist of credible, vetted partners.

TYPICAL FORMAT

A fixed-fee project, generally six to ten weeks.

WHO IT’S FOR

Brands that need a route to market through local partners and cannot afford to choose the wrong one.

02

Channel Development

A signed partner agreement is a starting point, not a result. Revenue comes from a channel that actually functions, partners who are enabled, channels that are set up correctly and a pipeline that produces orders.

Causeway Advisory builds that working route to market across the channels relevant to the brand, retail, wholesale, digital and B2B reseller, from channel design through to first orders and an operating channel.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

1. Channel design — the right mix of retail, wholesale, digital and B2B routes for the brand.

2. Partner onboarding and enablement, so partners can genuinely sell the brand.

3. Localization of pricing and commercial approach for the target market.

4. Set-up of the practical channel infrastructure required to transact.

5. Support through to first orders and a channel that is operating, not just signed.

TYPICAL FORMAT

A project fee, with a capped revenue-share component aligning the practice to results.

WHO IT’S FOR

Brands that have, or are securing, partners and need the channel built into a working commercial engine.

03

Interim In-Market Commercial Leadership

In its early months, a brand in a new market needs senior commercial presence on the ground, someone who can carry relationships, run the first deals and represent the brand credibly.

Causeway Advisory fills that gap directly. The practitioner acts as the brand’s senior commercial presence in-market, personally carrying the early relationships and the first deals and then builds toward a permanent local hire or a lighter ongoing oversight arrangement, so the brand is left standing on its own.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

1. Senior commercial representation of the brand in-market.

2. Direct ownership of early customer and partner relationships.

3. Hands-on management of the first deals through to close.

4. Regular business reviews with the brand’s head office.

5. A planned hand-off, toward a permanent local hire, or a lighter ongoing arrangement.

TYPICAL FORMAT

A monthly retainer. Capacity is deliberately limited, so only a small number of these engagements run at once.

WHO IT’S FOR

Brands that need a credible senior operator in-market now, without committing to a permanent country hire prematurely.

Not sure which service you need?

Most engagements begin with a conversation rather than a brief. Describe your situation, and you will get a clear, honest view of where to start.
