About
A senior advisory practice, built for execution
Causeway Advisory helps international brands enter and grow in new markets across the ANZ–Southeast Asia corridor.
THE PRACTICE
An independent advisory practice with a simple focus.
Execution that creates in-market momentum.
Causeway Advisory is an independent market entry and channel execution practice. It was founded on a simple observation drawn from 30 years inside enterprise sales and channel leadership: the hard part of international expansion is not the strategy. It is the execution — choosing the right partners, building real channels and holding commercial momentum in a market until the brand can stand on its own.
The practice is deliberately structured as a senior, founder-led advisory rather than a large consultancy. Clients work directly with an experienced operator from first conversation through to in-market delivery. The practice takes only a small number of engagements at a time, by design, so that each client receives genuine senior attention rather than a place in a queue.
Causeway Advisory operates under Shou Industries, its holding company. The Causeway Advisory practice is the market-facing advisory brand; Shou Industries provides the corporate structure behind it.

THE CORRIDOR & LANGUAGES
One corridor.
Deep capability.
Causeway Advisory works one corridor deeply rather than many markets thinly. Its focus is the Australia–New Zealand and Southeast Asia corridor, with the deepest capability in Singapore, Thailand and Laos.
The practitioner is an Australian citizen, based in Sydney, and is trilingual in English, Thai and Lao. That language capability is not incidental, it is what makes it possible to vet a partner properly, read a negotiation accurately, and understand a market the way a local operator does rather than the way a foreign visitor does.

HOW CAUSEWAY ADVISORY WORKS
Four principles guide every engagement
Senior attention, start to finish
Every engagement is led personally by the founder. The person you meet is the person who does the work.
Accountable for outcomes
Success is defined as the brand entering the market and generating revenue, not as the delivery of a document. Commercial terms are structured to reflect that.
Built to make itself replaceable
The goal of an in-market engagement is a brand that can operate on its own. Causeway Advisory plans for its own hand-off from the start.
Honest counsel
If a market is not right or the timing is wrong, you will be told plainly. The practice protects its reputation by being candid, including when the candid answer is “not yet.”
Start a conversation
If you are weighing up a new market, a direct conversation with a senior operator is the most useful first step.
